Dr. Stelly is a native of Sulphur, Louisiana. He attended LSU for three years before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. He accepted an offer to attend LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2019. During veterinary school he served as the LSU SAVMA president and participated in two veterinary trips to Honduras, where the team provided spay and neuters, as well as, preventive medicine for both small and large animals. He is interested in veterinary surgery and dermatology. Dr. Philip is the son of Dennis Stelly, DVM of Sulphur.
During his spare time he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors. He loves history and learning about new cultures and places. He has a German Shep/Lab mix named Max, and a calico cat named Lizzie.
